Qualcomm has recently changed its naming convention. Let’s start from the easiest part: it is a “Gen1” because it hopes (and we hope, too) that there will be future models.
On the basis of this chip, Qualcomm is collaborating with a few OEMs to create AR glasses. The names are the usual suspects: Sharp, TCL, Vuzix, Lenovo, LG, Niantic, Nreal, Oppo, Pico, Qonoq, Rokid, and Niantic.
